Last night's Sherlock was wonderful. Even allowing for the writing team headed by Stephen Moffat, I was unconvinced that it would work in a 21st century setting. But work it did. It fairly sizzled along.
The only criticism I have is with the overly-long conversation between Sherlock and the villain at the end. Apart from that, the characters were spot on - I'm not his date! John Watson was keen to point out to the restaurant owner who offered Sherlock and his guest a free meal.
Looking forward to the next two mini-films in this the first of what I hope will be a long-running Series.
