It's that time of year again when a group of us start preparing for a weekend of fun and a little bit of education in August.
WriterConUK, an online community for Artists, Betas, Readers, and Writers who live in or are visitors to Europe, began with fans interested in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the works of Joss Whedon. This still remains the heart of much of our fannish activity, but we have grown to include members with interests in other fandoms as well. Creative fans from any fandom are very welcome to join us. Examples of fandoms include Lord of the Rings, Torchwood, Stargate, BSG, Supernatural, XFiles, Doctor Who, Being Human, Star Trek, Caprica, and Merlin as well as various crossovers (Bagpuss and other Children's series).
