Knitting group's New Year Lunch

There was a lovely turnout for last Friday's knitting session. So many of us were there, we had to move from our usual 'Angel Room' to the upstairs ballroom bar. Not everyone was staying for lunch, but about 14 or us pre-ordered from the menu for our group's New Year lunch at 12.15

We had a lovely morning knitting, and chatting, and then it was time for lunch.

New Year's Lunch

The staff had set up a large table for us in the 'extra' dining room. Service was fast and efficient (we'd pre-ordered our selections)

Fridge Magnet from Chile

Sue H, who has recently returned from a cruise around S. America, showed us pictures of the trip, including some of a knitting shop in Chile.

She brought me a cute, miniature, knitting basket (with a fridge magnet on its back) in Chile. It is the only magnet allowed on the shiny new(ish) fridge/freezer.

A lovely time, with a lovely bunch of people whose company I really enjoy.
