Whether the weather be fine,
Or whether the weather be not,
Whether the weather be cold,
Or whether the weather be hot,
We'll weather the weather
Whatever the weather,
Whether we like it or not!

We've not had the massive snowstorms forecast by the Met Office, for which we are most thankful.
The larder is well-stocked, the fridge and freezer too. The house is
cosy and warm. The only downside is that I can't go out in the very
cold air and Ron is deprived of his daily walks. He's invented a new
game to relieve the boredom. When he goes out to 'do what a dog has to
do' in the garden, he plays at being a snow plough and comes back inside with icicles on his whiskers.
Snow getting deep. |
I took this photo of the back garden on Sunday afternoon. The snow had been falling, non-stop, since early morning. It was what MWNN calls 'German snow' - fine, like dust, and very pretty. It's so fine you can't see that it's falling steadily in the above picture.

This morning, it is impossible to get to the main road. I have just cancelled my Dentist's and Doctor's appointments. Rail lines are blocked and there are numerous accidents on the region's roads. No gymn today.
