Irish folk music

 

The Irish Music course is to be repeated next year at Benslow Music school

I'm seriously considering attending and think I might concentrate on Irish whistles this time as there doesn't seem to be a bodhran tutor again. I'll certainly take the bodhran with me for the 'jamming sessions'.

I hope to get more out of this course than the last one where I spent a lot of time accompanying on the guitar and teaching bodhran to a classical timpanist. Yes, I learned a lot about Irish singing styles and enjoyed the company, but next time, I hope to improve my own playing.
