.... of shoes and ships and sealing wax



We've been thinking about installing a solid fuel stove on the boat to extend our useage in the colder weather.

MWNN was keen on the Morso Squirrel but that would have involved re-jgging the furniture in the front cabin and extending the existing hearth as the Morso's smallest stove is larger than the one we removed some years ago.

I discovered the Hobbit some time ago, when searching for a stove with a 'smaller footprint' than the Morso but with similar specifications.

We sourced one, found a supplier of the correct flue system, and MWNN is heading for France to install it on the boat.

Any bets that the weather will suddenly realise it's summer the instant the stove is installed?
