The Best of Hitchin

One of the things that endeared the town to us when we first moved here from South London, was the fact that the town has its very own Brass Band. We later discovered that the town offers a rich cultural life - museum, live theatre, many choirs, rural music school, many art and crafts clubs and societies, film club, live music and dance - you name it, Hitchin has it.

Here is the Hitchin Brass Band performing the Floral Dance (in August 2011) outside the former Corn Exchange in the old market square.
