of breaking open two double-yolkers to make an omlette?
I ask because I made a goat's cheese omelette yesterday for supper, using two (slightly larger than the rest of the box) eggs from an unopened carton of Cotswold Legbars. I cracked the first egg and was surprised at the sight of the gloriously 'upstanding' deep yellow yolk - in the plural. That's good luck, I thought. Then I cracked the second egg. Again a double yolk. That's double the luck, I thought.
Apparently, the odds of two double-yolkers is 1/1000 squared.
Thinks - Wonder if I should play the Lottery this weekend?
