"A garden must combine the poetic and the mysterious with a feeling of serenity and joy." -Luis Barragan

We've spent a good chunk of the mornings during the past few days getting the garden into some sort of order. The wood store was established on its new hard standing yesterday, just before the rain came in. I'd already transfered the Red Hat Lady rose from its pot to the smaller of the raised beds and MWNN had taken out most of the winter clematis that had overgrown the trees at the end of the garden.

There is a lot more to be done, noteably clearing the junk from the side path and adding a few more plants to the bare areas created by the removal of the clematis and the building of the larger raised bed.

We're getting there - slowly. But I think there's a distinct absence of mystery in the working yard area.
