These boots are made for walking

I lost confidence in the boots I thought had good ankle support after twisting it in Southwold Pier's car park. With no return to swimming or gymnage for the foreseeable, MWNN and I are trying to fit in a long, brisk walk every day.

Hence the need for new walking boots that will support me on muddy footpaths, uneven surfaces, and not make my legs ache because the boots are heavy.

I did the Google thing and came up with a few likely suspects that were all available locally. Last week, we went into town and I tried on three different manufacturer's 'light', waterproof, walking boots. For these (left) I parted with a lot more money than I'd intended to bring them home.
