Another new start

back at knitting group yesterday thanks to the generosity of a friend who picked me up at home and drove me there. She lives across the other side of town so I am not exactly 'on the way'.




We had a guest speaker, Diane, from a yarn shop in the neighbouring town of Baldock. She told us the story behind Wool 'n' Things' early days and the recent expansion into the shop next door as well as the plans for world domination to take over more premises on the street.







There was also cake at coffee time. I bought it in celebration of my return to the group after such a long absence and as a 'thank you' to everyone, especially the core members.

Thanks to Rhys who was off school with a rugby injury, all the cake was gone by the end of the morning.
