Just a 'Summer Filler'?

I think  The Hour is rather more than that. As someone who grew up in the 1950s and 1960s, I can relate to the rather po-faced presentation by the BBC of news that seemed to be content with fawning about he social life of the well-to-do/and/or famous and sporting events.


Plus, it's helping pay the mortgage for some rather good actors.
