Turn off your mind, relax and float down stream



We do warm-up exercises at Singing Aloud. There are physical, psychological, and vocal  exercises.

The physical exercises loosen the joints, open the lungs, and stretch and relax tense muscles.

The psychological ones involve closing the eyes, and  going to a 'happy place' for a couple of minutes of relaxation.

I always go to the same place on the river and gaze into the water and watch the weed floating as I drift slowly downstream on a lovely warm day.
