Confiture to France

I like jam - especially on toast. Problem is, I have to be careful how much sugar I eat.

Many years ago, we found St Dalfour in our local Safeway supermarket. It is high in fruit content and is made with grape juice rather than refined sugar. It's great jam. There are no additives, colourings, flavourings, or preservatives, just 100% fruit, making it ideal for those with special dietry requirements. My favourite (like my late Dad's ) is blackcurrant. All flavours are packed full with chunks of fruit (55%).

St Dalfour is made in France, so, on our maiden voyage in 2000, I searched the French shops - with no luck. It is virtually impossible to buy in France. So, a bit like 'coals to Newcastle', I will be taking some French-made jam bought in an English supermarket, to France, when we go over for the relaunch of the boat at the end of the month.
