Despite feeling rough after the Cava and very late night at the weekend, I managed 500m in 15minutes in the pool today. I successfully negotiated a 'suspension' of membership for the duration of our stay in France, with the Deputy Manager of the Health and Fitness Club and completed the paperwork there and then.

A shopping trip netted an aubergine coloured, wool-mix Minuet Jacket, size 10, for a Fiver from the charity shop. It's fitted and has very pretty buttons. Also bought some patchwork squares and sewing thread before hitting the Supermarket for groceries.

A very productive day.
