Update on Levant II

Thanks to Lockdown2, the skies are now clear at night. I would love to sleep in the van to see the stars and moon on the first night of the Winter Solstice

I have set up the cross-bed behind the front seats, which is just long enough for me. The waves Afgan I made for use on the boat, makes a colourful throw. The curtains separate the living quarters from the cab

The table makes a good bedside surface as well as doing duty for dining. I bought some coir mats for the floor to keep the worst of the wet and mud off the now-clean lino.

I have added some festive lights for the Solstice (which lasts 12 days, but I think I will only sleep in the van on 21st). There will be days that I will mark by making meals and snacks using Levant II's facilities.

There is more to add to make the interior festive. Keep your fingers crossed that the weather will be kind. Although there is heating available via the 240v hook-up, I don't relish sleeping under a cloudy sky.
