125th anniversary exhibition.

Who painted this seascape?

drew this portait?

and this one?

The same artist who "painted matchstalk men and matchstalk cats and dogs".

LS Lowry painted much more than matchstick men .....

There's an Exhibition at the Tate Britain that I'd love to see.

I have a soft spot for Lowry. The Manchester Primary school I attended in the 1950s had Prints (or perhaps the real thing?) on the corridor walls. I used to study them when waiting for the school nurse to do the annual check-up stuff. Then there's the Easter Fair at Daisy Nook, painted in 1946. My Mum and Dad met for the first time at Daisy Nook Fair in the late 1930s.
