Why? I hear you ask. It's February. Winter has yet to bugger off until November.
It's our anniversary on March 1st (44th) and we like to be beside the sea for our celebrations. The cottage we hire is very comfortable with all mod cons, including wi fi. Being seasoned boaters, we have the 'severe weather' gear that allows us to walk the beach in whatever the weather throws at us. Admittedly, this year doesn't look likely to be as good as last February so we probably won't spend as long on the beach, but the weather promises to be dry which is something.
