Flaming June?

More like a washout.

Wood store at the end of the garden

The cold, damp, month  prompted MWNN to order a delivery of logs which he stacked in the wood-store, and beside the house. We have part-seasoned logs that need protecting from the rain.

Red Hat Lady Rose from Harkness Roses

Not so the Red Hat Lady Rose, which is thriving in its new raised bed and enjoying the rain. It's produced a stunning display this year.

Roses

Multiple flower heads with more buds appearing as each rose opens.

Roses-in-waiting

I have yet to learn how to prune the bush so that its flowering season is a long one.
