It needed re-doing as the retaining wall (not shown) between us and the neighbour's drive had started to disintegrate ever since they had their key-block laid. Removal of the crumbling wall revealed that the drainage system in the neighbour's drive had deposited tons of water behind our wall which was in danger of collapse.

Our key-block drive had also suffered from similar drainage 'issues'. The wall was rebuilt (with adjustment to the neighbour's drainage), the key-block was relaid and the old lawn covered with permeable membrane and shingle.

It looks much better now and we are patiently waiting for the concrete seams to set properly before bringing the cars back ontto the slightly extended driveway.
