We did have a couple of wobbles during the 3-hour live chat session. The first was when the Network adapter drivers wouldn\t work properly and I couldn't get online to download new ones. That was solved by using a memory stick and the PC on which live chat was taking place.
The second was when I found that all the folders in 'Windows-old' were empty. It was a good thing that I had most ofthe non-Microsoft programs and important data backed up to the external hard drive and could replace them. The biggest thrill was when my exported mail addresses imported into Windows mail with no problems.
I bought a new 2-year licence for AVG and all that remains is to complete the Windows updates that weren't on the disc and sort out the reason why the @ sign and " sign have changed places on the keyboard (i.e. the key that should produce @ produces ")
