Sugar-free but with all the taste

I normally hate the ‘low fat’, ‘low carb’, or ‘low calorie’ versions of my favourite treats. They rarely taste like the real thing and I'd rather go without  But Werther's Original Sugar Free Butter Candies I found recently in Waitrose, really are the exception. They have all the smooth buttery taste of their the standard counterpart but are completely sugar-free. This is good news for me.  I have a condition labelled 'pre-diabetic' by my GP and avoid added sugar. Now I have an alternative to the sugar-free liquorice sweets I get in France.
