New watch

The watch I took to France did not work too well. I think the battery is giving up the ghost as it lost about 3 minutes each day. The lack of a date was also very annoying.

It  was an analogue watch with a leather strap, my digital watch having lost the keeper from the naff plastic strap. I thought I might be able to switch straps but they aren't compatible.

I ordered a replacement from Amazon last week. My new Timex arrived this morning. It is a similar style to the old one but has Indiglo back lighting as well as a calendar (date) display.
