Slow Boat. No China.

This year's cruise is part of the celebrations of our Ruby Wedding year. We're planning to try the Eastern route towards Strasbourg again. Last time, we got as far as Sedan before floods on the Meuse destroyed our weed hatch bottom plate and we had to make our way carefully  back to the canal (with the engine compartment 'bailing' pump running full tilt) to have a new one welded on.

I found two very pretty bone chine cups and saucers in a charity shop about 3 years ago. They have a very unusual scalloped rim and are so very delicate.

They are definitely not going to the boat.
