Our Italian next door neighbour is also my hairdresser. She cuts my hair really well and the only problem with our relationship is that I forget to book the next appointment after she's finished cutting my hair.

Not so yesterday. Before she'd finished taking her equipment out of her bag, I had the calendar ready and open, calculating the six weeks' mark. I like to keep my hair  short and, as it grows very quickly, it needs cutting every five or six weeks. Any longer and I start to feel really uncomfortable. It's been a good 12 weeks since it was cut and, as Enza noted, it had 'gone a bit wild'.

After a cut, like most women, I feel so much better, even when I'm a bit fatigued as I have been since I damaged my back.
